Sara Blenkhorn
Enthusiastic, innovative and creative, Sara is a futurist with a talent to think big. She has an extensive history of engaging businesses to create a shared value proposition around sustainability and then bake it into the DNA of their operations resulting in an enhanced bottom line and increased value to their community, stakeholders and shareholders. Holding the belief that businesses are society’s most influential forces for social change, Sara’s vision is to make impact on a colossal scale. Sara holds a Masters degree in Strategic Leadership Towards Sustainability, and has served as an advisor for The Natural Step International. Her experience working with a wide range of organizations all over the world has given her a diverse set of skills and tools to help organizations take the leap from good intentions to long term organizational resiliency.
Timothy Nash
Timothy Nash is President of Strategic Sustainable Investments, and teaches economics at Sheridan College. As an expert on socially responsible investing, impact investing, and the green economy, he has been featured in The Globe & Mail, Advisor’s Edge Report, and Reuters, and has appeared on CBC’s The Lang & O’Leary Exchange (video above). He earned a BA in Economics from Dalhousie University (Halifax, Canada) and a Master's in Strategic Leadership towards Sustainability from the Blekinge Institute of Technology (Karlskrona, Sweden).
Timothy is the lead researcher for Ethical Market’s Green Transition Scoreboard® research report, which details more than $4.1 trillion of private investments in the global green economy since 2007. He lives in Toronto, Canada and is often found cavorting about the Centre for Social Innovation.
